Meet Richie Beeler

A lifelong Knox County resident, Richie has served our community with integrity and transparency...

Born and raised in the Corryton community, Richie Beeler is a lifelong resident of Knox County, a dedicated public servant, and a proven leader who understands the needs of our community.

Richie spent 27 years as finance director for the Register of Deeds, where he built a reputation for integrity and transparency. After leaving government service in 2017 to take a full-time ministry position, Richie returned to the County Clerk’s office in 2022, where he has served as chief of staff for the past 4 years. This extensive experience has undergirded his conviction that every citizen deserves honest stewardship and excellent service from their county offices—and he’s ready to lead the Clerk’s office with that mission in mind.

A man of deep faith, a conservative Republican, and a strong advocate for accessible government, Richie has spent his career listening to people, solving problems, and standing up for what’s right. As Knox County Clerk, he will look for innovative ways to streamline systems, improve customer service, and ensure our public records are safe, secure, and accessible.

“I’m running because I care about this community and the people getting what they deserve from their government. I want to bring a culture of trust, efficiency, and excellence to the Clerk’s office.” — Richie Beeler

A people first approach

THE People’s government

People don’t exist to serve their government. Government exists to serve the people, and its only authority comes from the consent of the people.

the people’s money

County officials must be faithful stewards who understand the funds they handle are NOT the office’s money; they are NOT the elected official’s money. They ARE the people’s money.

people are the priority

This is where stewardship meets service. Good government happens when officials understand how to balance excellent service and cost effectiveness.
